Hello Lukas ! How are things going bro? Ok, for first boring question, how give us a little background on the band members and how you guys formed and an you tell us why you have chosen ETERNAL BLEEDING as bands name? Do you think it fits well to your musick style?
Hey Herry SIC! Thx, I´m doing fine. Nowdays I´m a bit busy with our upcoming european summer tour, but things seems to be on good way again and we all hope it will be crushing experience!;) Also I´m working on our first merch-press, so everyone who´d be interested in check it out on our official web-site than! Haha, yeah ussual question, but I know it´s necessary to present our band and it´s history, so.. We formed in 2003 as young slovakian death/thrash band and started to make things faster and more brutal;) Our second guitarist left the band in 2004 after some personal troubles, so we were forced to continue in three members. In 2004 we recorded our first self-released demo “Shape of Human Being” and than were signed by czechian underground label GRODHAISN Prod. In 2005 we recorded our first studio stuff which was used for split CD with mighty EMETH from Belgium. This stuff was released on OBSCENE EXTREME FEST´06. Durring our existance we played probably a bit more than one hundred shows here in Middle of Europe, with bands like SUFFOCATION(Us), WACO JESUS(Us), MUCOPUS(Us), CATETHER(Us), G.U.T(De), DEFEATED SANITY(De), SINISTER(Nl), DECAPITATED(Pl), DEVILYN(Pl), SQUASH BOWELS(Pl), DEAD INFECTION(Pl), GUTTED(Hu), INGROWING(Cz), FLESHLESS(Cz), GODLESS TRUTH(Cz) and many more. Also we performed on some festivals here (especially killing was OBSCENE EXTREME FEST!;) and was on minitour with Bros from SICKBAG(Fr) & DEFORMED(Pl) last summer. Haha, our band name.. It´s long story, but you´re right this one isn´t good choice.. it´s clishe and so on, but we choose INTERNAL at first!:D I know, shame on me but I swear the god I didn´t know this classic from USA.. We played few concerts as IB and than someone of us told “Hey man, ETERNAL is really similar, doesn´t it?!” Hahaha!:D But to be honest I see in our band name all hidden behind at first – the idea, feeling, our hard work and so on.. EB isn´t clishe for me anymore, it´s like tatoo, it´s my band;) Also it´s good for shocking gothic or melodic fans, when you come and play really fast and brutal, haha!
What are some of the bands strongest musical and non-musical influences at the moment? How would you describe ETERNAL BLEEDING on stage? And how do slovakian metalheads normally react to your musick? Are you slam dance audience in the vein??
You know, I´m listen to more different music styles.. Of course, US & technical brutal death metal (GORGASM, DISGORGE(Us), ORIGIN, ANOMALOUS, BENEATH THE MASSACRE, NECROPHAGIST, SOILS OF FATE, DYING FETUS, WORMED, DESPONDENCY, GUTROT, ABORTED, and many many more) is still dominant, but now I´m also into math-core (as DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, ION DISSONANCE, INTO THE MOAT, CARBOMB, etc.) a lot. And sometimes when I´m tired or something, I´m listen to weird avantgarde, funny grind´n´roll, pop, electronix, hip-hop, whatever which can give me something, you know.. There´s only good & bad music and every style could give you something - of course, I don´t like some styles, but I don´t hate people who listen to them, you know:) Also my guys has different infuences. For example, our bassplayer is more into old school stuff.
Your latest proud blasted split CD with belgian ultra brutal death metal killers, EMETH " Nescientia / Bleed With Me " has been out for a while and it was sick as fuck!! Are you very happy with the way it turned out? If not, what would you like to have done different? And how czechian metal label GRODHAISN Prod. can cooperation this split CD ETERNAL BLEEDING, why not with czechian brutal band? Do EMETH cooperate with GRODHAISN Prod. closer as well?
Yes, honestly we´re happy that our stuff is out from last year. You know, we recorded it in 2005, but unfortunatelly there was big delay, ´couse of several unexpected problems. We wish we could have better promotion, but our label is smaller one. But hopefully it´ll change with next release and we´ll got better promotion. Btw. our label supports us as well, but it´s possibilities are limited naturally. Hope we did a good work and find some new fans world-wide:) Why EMETH? You know, I made interview for one zine here called Cremation(R.i.p) and we were in contact. I asked Matty/guitar for some tips on newcomers who could be on second part of our split, ´couse DROGHEDA(Us) quited cooperation. And Matty asked “What ´bout EMETH?” and deal was done:) EMETH is a great band and we knew their stuff from previos CD “Insideous” and we all were proud to cooperate with them and share one disk with them even their home-label is BRUTAL BANDS.
And now ETERNAL BLEEDING have joined with GRODHAISN Prod. for split CD with EMETH, how was you signed by GRODHAISN Prod.?? Do you know better label owner? Why don´t you choose slovakian label, like FORENSIC Musick? Does GRODHAISN Prod. roster have more intense brutal newcomer with killer concept?
We were signed by GRODHAISN Prod. after our self-released demo “Shape of Human Being”. Label-boss liked this stuff and offered us a split CD with DROGHEDA and we agreed – it was simple:) You know, GRODHAISN Prod. isn´t big label, but for us as a band even better than no label. We didn´t offer this stuff to FORENSICK Music, ´couse we aren´t in good relationship with owner of this label. Anyway I don´t think that it could do for us more than GRODHAISN Prod. and more support us, ´couse I can see it on recent releases and promotion of slovakian bands. If I could recommend you someone from GRODHAISN Prod.´s family it´d be 100% our Bros from DIFTERY (US brutal death metal in DIGORGE vain), ATTACK OF RAGE (True grind core inferno) & TYPHOID (technical brutal death metal). Which one form your “Bleed With Me“ songs are your favorite tracks? Is there a particular one that you're especially proud of?
Hmm.. 100%tly we´re proud of “Bleed With Me” song and I think that all of us has a favorite passages in every song. But for me is mentioned track leader of all and it was reason why we called whole stuff “Bleed With Me”. You know, we used wide spectrum of our stuff. Some trackx were on our demo too, some of them were older and some brand new. We performed our long-time writing process on this stuff and no-one knows if we´ll do the same on next release but I hope it´ll be more complex, haha!
Tell to LOST IN CHAOS Mediazine readers about process of recording this CD, are you satisfied with recording this material, what equipment did you use during this recording? Do you satisfy enjoy using Ibanez 7 String with low tunes heavy as fuck character sound originally? Or other use?? And how to make good death metal sound in the vein?
We were satisfied with result. I think that we did a good work and used possibilities of recording studio as well. I wish I could change many things now, but it was two years ago and we have to go on. I don´t use 7string guitar, haha! Just 6string classic, but low-tuned:)
We used Sonor drums, DM module for kickdrums, Peavy 5150 amp & Trace-Eliot bass amp, that´s all;) I really don´t know how to do good death metal sound, but we had a clear mind and knew that we want to give our fans listenable, clear sound to perform our links & riffs. I don´t like “ultra-brutal” stuffs, where you cannot hear one single riff except noise, blasts and growling.. We were looking for understandable kind of sound and hopefully we found it. But on next release we´d like to try another studio, especially ´couse of vocals.
Although I haven´t read your lyrics judging from your song titles, you're into little gory stuff.. Who writes the lyrics and what´s the inpiration? And what you written at song “Bleed with me & My Guts To Your Face “, that lyric is reality or just funny?? And what is more important for the band, lyrics or musick? Are you interested in writing lyrics about social, politic, culture and maybe love he..he..
I´m author of lyrics, but I have to tell you that I was really limited with my english language skills. I was big fan of CANNIBAL CORPSE and liked their gore themes of their lyrics. But always I tried to got there some hidden idea, some reflection of reality around us. You´re right, lyrics are in gore theme, but they won´t anymore.. It´s time for step forward and express our feelings and ideas in new form. I won´t write them in politic or social way exactly, but I´d like to express myself in more sophisticated way than gore is. Our lyrics on “Bleed With Me” aren´t funny, but they´re reflection of reality and feelings trough disgust, pain, filth and confusion.. nothing more:)
Don’t forget for tell us for other ETERNAL BLEEDING release before ( “Shape Of Human Being “ demo 2004 ).. If you compare it with this split CD, it´s recent stuff different? What about your musick style? How often and where do you rehearse? Do you invite some people to see you play on your rehearsals?
Yes, we recorded our first demo, but it was recorded on our rehearsal room and we used it as a fore-production for our recent studio stuff. We put out maybe 50 copies, you know. Our split CD stuff is different in musician skills, sound and quality as well. We changed a bit our old songs from demo, with adding some blasts and chaging some parts. We wanted to do it, ´couse we wanted to give them to our fans in better quality. But I don´t think that we changed our music style. Maybe we´ll do a bit with next release, no-one knows:) We rehearse two or three times per week. We´d like to rehearse more, but it´s a bit harder ´couse of work of other guys and my studies. But we try as we can. Unfortunately we´re changing our rehearsal rooms really often.. Now we rehearse in one club, which is situated in old historical building under ground, hehe! But acoustic conditions there are terrible.. Sometimes some friend of us joins our rehearsal, but it´s not so often.
Previously I more recognizing first band from your country, I know SANATORIUM a bit, how their news for this present moment? What remain to be slaught musickness into the scene….Are you in touch with all these sickfucks? Any new sick bands worth mentioning? And hows the slovakian scene doing? Please, can you give me some high anticipated brutal newcomers dangerous existence for the next future??
Honestly, we´re not in good relationship with SANATORIUM, even I respect their work on their name. Me and our drummer were as guest-musicians in this band for half year, but we didn´t like their attitude and relationship with our band and made our choice – we quitted this band. It´s long story and I´m not a “bad-tongue”, you know. Anyway I don´t care ´bout this band anymore! So if you want to know some their news, you have to ask them directly. Btw. we have many friends in brutal death & grind core bands here and in Czech Republic as well (you know our nations & languages are really similar), also in other countries. I´d like to recomend you once again our brothers from DIFTERY, ATTACK OF RAGE, CRANIOTOMY, TYPHOID, SURGICAL DISSECTION or MORTALLY INFECTED. Last mentioned are the hottest newcomers, I think. Also I really keep my thumbs up for DIFTERY, ´couse I think that those fuckers are the most brutal band from Slovakia ever! I helped them with label signing and CD recording and like their shit a lot!!!

What is your opinion about the death metal scene nowdays?
I think that things turned better again. Death metal never will be as a main-stream, ´couse of many people cannot find there nothing than extreme noise. But I hope things will go better and better again. Here´s in Europe are many great bands and on other continents the same. Here are still sickos who support scene, buy your CD, write for zines or do fests & gigs. I can see it on our scene example here – it´s better year by year! Btw. audience of gigs could be better, but as I told.. death metal never will be as a main-stream:) I belive in better sick blasting tomorow, haha!
What kind of shit has been spinning on your players lately? And please talk about your favorite slovakian Horror/Gore/Splatter/ films.. Any movies woud like to recommend? And I know you like to drink some beer…any Beer faforite now? Rasto Hilek often drink with you? And how with Peter "Bazo" Bazelides?
Haha, I have to disappoint you, man.. we have no gore or splatter films:) Masters in this kind of movie art were guys from Italy. I like many movies, but if I should recommend some.. hmm.. Hollywood but good - 12 Monkeys or Fighclub;) Yeah, I like beer, but more than beer I like weed;) I hope you too, haha! What ´bout indonesian models?:P I don´t spend much time with my guys from band. You know, everyone of us has own world, own friends.. Rasto has family and Bazo works a lot. But we make some little parties after our gigs sometimes, hehe!
Do you know indonesian brutal death metal scene as well, do you know some bands/zine/labels/distro/people from our country?? Could ETERNAL BLEEDING play some indonesian gigs someday? Important condition which you require from promoter?? Hey Lukas, we have also same-name band ETERNAL BLEEDING from Jakarta, did you know about this?
Unfortunately I have to say, that I don´t know a lot ´bout your scene.. I know only bands called DECOMPOSED, DEVOURED and SIKSASHKUBUR (I´m really sorry, if I wrote it wrong, but it´s hard for remember:P), but I hope it will change with years!:) I would be really great to play in your country one day, but you know it´s really far away for us and I think we have to more more to improve ourselves and spread more our name to become this dream true. Our conditions? Hmm, food & drinks, transport and fly tickets, but I know it would be really expensive for unknown band.. Yes, I heard that some band in your country is called ETERNAL BLEEDING too, but I never saw their web-site or found some info ´bout them on net. Anyway I think if some band want to work on itself they should work harder and spread their name.. I hope we´re step forward here at least:P But it could be funny to share one stage oneday:)
Oh yeah what´s your opinion about same-name bands in brutal scene? Do you think it´s a problem or don´t care?
Band name is really important thing and I´m sad that we didn´t know it years before.. If I could change our band-name be sure I´d like to do it! Anyway I have no prob with same-name bands. I know that except us are around 3 hardcore bands called ETERNAL BLEEDING, one splitted out death metal band from USA and one from Jakarta:) But as I said unfortunately I never heard some their stuff or some news ´bout them. I think it´s lot of same-name bands world-wide and if someone will try harder, work harder and will spread their name as first, it´s a winner. We´re ready to do that with EB, haha!
What can we expect from the band in the near future?
We´d like to finish our first merch-press, and go on upcoming COLLAPSING THE EUROPE TOUR 2007 with french brutal sickos GORYPTIC. I hope everything will work well and we´ll enjoy this tour and bring back new experiences. Than we want to focus on writing new stuff for upcoming EP, which will be released by GRODHAISN Prod. again and than we´ll see. Also we´d like to invite second guitarist and make our band stronger, but we´ll see how things will go on. Now is the most important new stuff. We were focusing on live shows a lot and forgot writing process for almost two years. Now we want to do something brand new and naturally different. I think new stuff will be more slamming, maybe with less violent rhythm changes and with simple math-core influences.. Result? We´re curious of too, but I thik it won´t be such typical death metal than before. But don´t be afraid, we won´t forget our brutal death metal roots!;) We´ll see what future will bring to us..

How would you describe your own sound? SUFFOCATION…DEEDS OF FLESH…DISGORGE…NECROPHAGIST any band that plays death metal inspired and always will! …. Can you describe it?
Hmm.. really hard question, do you know that? I´d let it on opinion of fans. But you know.. we tried to make really listenable and “clear” sound, important to make our music undestandable. But you know, naturally after two years we aren´t satisfied with everything.. Anyway I heard more bad recorded releases and I´m happy that we could give our fans this quality-level as well, even I don´t like some parts, vocal links and so on. But we try as we can. Unfortunately we´re changing our rehearsal rooms really often.. Now we rehearse in one club, which is situated in old historical building under ground, hehe! But acoustic conditions there are terrible.. Sometimes some friend of us joins our rehearsal, but it´s not so often.
Previously I more recognizing first band from your country, I know SANATORIUM a bit, how their news for this present moment? What remain to be slaught musickness into the scene….Are you in touch with all these sickfucks? Any new sick bands worth mentioning? And hows the slovakian scene doing? Please, can you give me some high anticipated brutal newcomers dangerous existence for the next future??
Honestly, we´re not in good relationship with SANATORIUM, even I respect their work on their name. Me and our drummer were as guest-musicians in this band for half year, but we didn´t like their attitude and relationship with our band and made our choice – we quitted this band. It´s long story and I´m not a “bad-tongue”, you know. Anyway I don´t care ´bout this band anymore! So if you want to know some their news, you have to ask them directly. Btw. we have many friends in brutal death & grind core bands here and in Czech Republic as well (you know our nations & languages are really similar), also in other countries. I´d like to recomend you once again our brothers from DIFTERY, ATTACK OF RAGE, CRANIOTOMY, TYPHOID, SURGICAL DISSECTION or MORTALLY INFECTED. Last mentioned are the hottest newcomers, I think. Also I really keep my thumbs up for DIFTERY, ´couse I think that those fuckers are the most brutal band from Slovakia ever! I helped them with label signing and CD recording and like their shit a lot!!!

What is your opinion about the death metal scene nowdays?
I think that things turned better again. Death metal never will be as a main-stream, ´couse of many people cannot find there nothing than extreme noise. But I hope things will go better and better again. Here´s in Europe are many great bands and on other continents the same. Here are still sickos who support scene, buy your CD, write for zines or do fests & gigs. I can see it on our scene example here – it´s better year by year! Btw. audience of gigs could be better, but as I told.. death metal never will be as a main-stream:) I belive in better sick blasting tomorow, haha!
What kind of shit has been spinning on your players lately? And please talk about your favorite slovakian Horror/Gore/Splatter/ films.. Any movies woud like to recommend? And I know you like to drink some beer…any Beer faforite now? Rasto Hilek often drink with you? And how with Peter "Bazo" Bazelides?
Haha, I have to disappoint you, man.. we have no gore or splatter films:) Masters in this kind of movie art were guys from Italy. I like many movies, but if I should recommend some.. hmm.. Hollywood but good - 12 Monkeys or Fighclub;) Yeah, I like beer, but more than beer I like weed;) I hope you too, haha! What ´bout indonesian models?:P I don´t spend much time with my guys from band. You know, everyone of us has own world, own friends.. Rasto has family and Bazo works a lot. But we make some little parties after our gigs sometimes, hehe!
Do you know indonesian brutal death metal scene as well, do you know some bands/zine/labels/distro/people from our country?? Could ETERNAL BLEEDING play some indonesian gigs someday? Important condition which you require from promoter?? Hey Lukas, we have also same-name band ETERNAL BLEEDING from Jakarta, did you know about this?
Unfortunately I have to say, that I don´t know a lot ´bout your scene.. I know only bands called DECOMPOSED, DEVOURED and SIKSASHKUBUR (I´m really sorry, if I wrote it wrong, but it´s hard for remember:P), but I hope it will change with years!:) I would be really great to play in your country one day, but you know it´s really far away for us and I think we have to more more to improve ourselves and spread more our name to become this dream true. Our conditions? Hmm, food & drinks, transport and fly tickets, but I know it would be really expensive for unknown band.. Yes, I heard that some band in your country is called ETERNAL BLEEDING too, but I never saw their web-site or found some info ´bout them on net. Anyway I think if some band want to work on itself they should work harder and spread their name.. I hope we´re step forward here at least:P But it could be funny to share one stage oneday:)
Oh yeah what´s your opinion about same-name bands in brutal scene? Do you think it´s a problem or don´t care?
Band name is really important thing and I´m sad that we didn´t know it years before.. If I could change our band-name be sure I´d like to do it! Anyway I have no prob with same-name bands. I know that except us are around 3 hardcore bands called ETERNAL BLEEDING, one splitted out death metal band from USA and one from Jakarta:) But as I said unfortunately I never heard some their stuff or some news ´bout them. I think it´s lot of same-name bands world-wide and if someone will try harder, work harder and will spread their name as first, it´s a winner. We´re ready to do that with EB, haha!
What can we expect from the band in the near future?
We´d like to finish our first merch-press, and go on upcoming COLLAPSING THE EUROPE TOUR 2007 with french brutal sickos GORYPTIC. I hope everything will work well and we´ll enjoy this tour and bring back new experiences. Than we want to focus on writing new stuff for upcoming EP, which will be released by GRODHAISN Prod. again and than we´ll see. Also we´d like to invite second guitarist and make our band stronger, but we´ll see how things will go on. Now is the most important new stuff. We were focusing on live shows a lot and forgot writing process for almost two years. Now we want to do something brand new and naturally different. I think new stuff will be more slamming, maybe with less violent rhythm changes and with simple math-core influences.. Result? We´re curious of too, but I thik it won´t be such typical death metal than before. But don´t be afraid, we won´t forget our brutal death metal roots!;) We´ll see what future will bring to us..
