Hello! How are things going bro? Ok, for first Question, How Give us a little background on the band members and how you guys formed and Can you tell us why you have chosen DOWN FROM THE WOUND as bands name? Do you think it fits well to your musick style?
Hey how are you? Well we are all fine down here bro, very much busy dealing with our own life. Okey Down from the wound started way back 2001, composed of four original members that was founded by me Randyl Drummer and Jeff Guitarist. We have gone through a lot of member changes until down from the wound gained stability year 2004 with Tristan (gutturals) Jeff (Guitars) Randyl (drums). 2 demos was released and a couple of split cd’s and we have an upcoming debut album coming out soon under Sevared Records USA. Well the name down from the wound is quite unique that is we choose to use it and we think it is very much fitted in our music and style.What are some of the bands strongest musical and non-musical influences at the moment? How would you describe DOWN FROM THE WOUND in stage? And how do Philipines Metalhead normally react to your musick? Are you Slam dance Audience in the vein??
I should say Disgorge USA and Devourment is our strongest influence when we started the band out, but we also have lots of musical influences though.Down from the wound in stage is totally brutal, pure sickness in our own essence and a massive head banging slaming performance.The crowd would really love to see us again perform live after our set.How would you describe your own sound? DISGORGE…DEVOURMENT….BRODEQUIN….SUFFOCATION….any band that plays death metal inspired and always will! Can you describe it?

happy with the way it turned out? If not, what would you liked to have done differently?We are very much happy with the way it turned out, though the production is not good.Tell me to LOST IN CHAOS Mediazine Readers about Process Recording this EP, are you satisfied recording this material and what your Equipment use for during Record all?? What you use AXIS Pedals At That Time And Every DOWN FROM THE WOUND Performing??
I use pearl power shifter double pedals and our demo was recorded using only a laptopwith the help of Adobe Audition. We are satisfied with how the record goes.Although i havent read your lyrics judging from your song titles, you're into little gory violence stuff.. Who writes the lyrics and whats the inpiration? And what you written at song “Peircing Through The Veil Of Lies “, that lyric is Reality or just Funny??And what is the more important for the band, Lyrics or musick?
We are not into gore or violence theme, our lyrics is reality based, all the hypocrisy and more into religion shit theme.Both lyrics and music is important for us, very much important!!!
Don’t forget for tell us for other DOWN FROM THE WOUND release Before..if Compared with this CD “Peircing Through The Veil Of Lies “ are you any diffirent thing all about your Musickal style? How often and where do you rehearse? Do you invite some people to see you play on your rehearsals?
Our first official release is a split CD with Dissimulate, fallowed by our first self titled demo and the follow up demo piercing through the veil of lies, the tracks from our follow up demo was re-mastered and came out with a split to Pus Vomit released by Condemned Records and Berdugo Records.We do often rehearse every Sunday, everyone who wants to come to see us jam inside the studio is welcome.
And Now DOWN FROM THE WOUND have joined with SEVARED Records for Full CD “Agony Through Rituals of Self Purification “ will be released on summer 2007, how you can sign with SEVARED Records?? Are you Knowing Better Once label Owners, Baret Amis? ( Hello Barret!! Ed ), and such as those which I know if SEVARED Records Roster have More Intense new comer Brutal band with killer concept.
Yes we are now signed at Sevared Redords and our debut album is coming out this summer 2007. We sent a promo Cd to Sevared and Barrett didn’t hesitate to collaborate with us.
Are you now in the process of new materials ” Agony Through Rituals of Self Purification “ when we can expect new proudly blast from DOWN FROM THE WOUND if compared before?? Tell me too about this material…
The materials for the debut album Agony through rituals of self purification is already been recorded, we are just waiting for the cover art to be finished and the CD will be out soon, the songs are absolutely brutal.

A good day for a killing is from Thailand, they are not Filipinos bro, We are good friends with Human Mastication and Pus Vomit. Yes the split was released by Berdugo Records and Condemned Records. Worth mentioning new bands from the Philippines, Defecated, Loss of Control, Infernal Machine, Last Vigil, Almoranas and more.

What is your opinion about the Death Metal scene now a days?
It is getting stronger each and every time nowadays, I see a lot of bands trying to establish their name in the international scene which is I think is very awesome.

I just know a little from Indonesia, those I have red from fanzines but I’m not familiar with them anymore, I only know Jasad which I think from Bandung, West Java, so far this is the only band I know who comes from your country that really collaborated in the international scene, they are fuckin brutal.Part of our dream is to tour USA, Europe, and South East Asia, yes we would like to hit Indonesia someday off course, as long as the promoter would give us a good deal that’s not a problem with us, we could talk about it.
What can we expect from the band in the near future
