ANIMAL KILLING PEOPLE Interview ( Check on LIC # 17 Issue )
guys, please Introduce your History band to me and LOST IN CHAOS reader ( Sorry Still with Boring and bastard Question as Fuck! ), the name ANIMAL KILLING PEOPLE, who came up with that and seriously, whats the Meaning behing a name like that? I mean Now a days people coming up with some of the Freak and craziest names out there and what I would like to know is who came up with it and why? Whats the deal with it? Easy remember or was it just to fit Your brutal nature?
OK ANIMALS KILLING people started about a year ago with edwin[ex-drummer internal suffering]and manuel of secrecy on guitars then wilson-ex-drummer for purulent and copremesis]came to play the bass lines after the departure of edwin, wilson takes the seat behind the kit and alex of copremesis joins the band on vocals we start composing the songs and then alex has to leave the band in the middle of the recording so andres from pustulated takes the vocals for the first release of AKP.
How did you get signed with GOREGIASTIC Records? Are they doing a good Job with Promoting your name in the underground scene now that it's a pretty tough business? Are you know more about person inside label as well??
we didnt come up with the name just to sound new or different but it was something that i wanted to really express in the lirics in a very gory way because is a reality that humans are so blind and stupid to act the way they do with animals so the name is about vengeance, animals turning into humans in the same way humans have made animals suffer torturing them and just killing them for sport.so i came up with the name coz is something that i have always felt animals must kill humans the same way or worse how humans have killed them.
ANIMAL KILLING PEOPLE has been the new release MCD " Human hunting season " I stumbled upon, it's a great MCD I have to say But have you done any recording before this? and what equipment to use for this recording??
we got signed by goregiastic since i know andres[internal suffering] he knew i was having a new proyect so we recorded the mcd gave it to him he liked it and decided it to release it,they have done a great job so far we feel supported by them and lara has been a great help for us too.
what inspires you when you guys rite your Music? How is the Process when writing music for ANIMAL KILLING PEOPLE , are still deal with DEVOURMENT,INTERNAL BLEEDING,ENTORTUREMENT rule as well? Can you tell me behind this?
this is the first AKP recording ever we used a 16 channel mackie and the software was mac+dvdesign we would have like to have a better production but this was the best we could do for the full lenght we dont plan to do this again at all we want to record in a proffesional studio to get a better production.
a lot Amazing drummer uses axis pedals, don't you interest to try it too? Is it chep to buy the gears on your Country??
well,As far as im concerned im always inspire by brutality i dont really think of any bands when composing,manuel composes the songs then i learn them in bass and then i think how the drums would fit into the song and when is ready we get together and play it.
When it comes to writing lyrics, is it about " animal Right" or it something else, cause Still not much for the brutal band bring it, are you very real enjoy with it too, that we live in for protection animal right?
yeah i have tried axis pedals they're pretty good but way too soft i use dw5000 and i really like them and here is pretty easy to buy your gear if you work for it.
When will the time come, when you will be able for next release, has that been planned yet and do you have enough material for it, and ANIMAL KILLING PEOPLE??
animals rights are important in our lirics but are not the main focus which is to kill humans and devour them doing to them the same thing humans have done to animals throughout time but in a very gory way how they deserve it.
Are you only into listening to brutal music or do listen to any other kind of genre only?? What do is your opinion about being open minded when it comes to your music? And what heve you been listening to the most lately??
We think in the early 20005 we will be releasing our full lenght which will be more brutal and faster than the the mcd ,we are working on new material right now.
Throught the years that this music has been spawned in all kinds of shapes and sounds, how do you think the death metal scene ( Worldwide ) will look in the, well lets say for 5 years to coming up soon? Doesn't it have any chance to survive or is it slowly withering away??
i always since i started listening to music have been listening metal im not into any other kind of music this is what i like but i dont care if someone else listen to metal and something else is just not my problem hahaha,lately i have been listening a lot to devourment,prophecy,pustulated,nihilist obstat a very good death grind band from colombia they have a very good future and i've been listening to tons of other brutal stuff that i have.
Well, now for some more potential matter, how did you get into this kind, at first and what bands have meant a lot to you when it comes to this kind of music, like what bands did your grow up with??
well very good brutal bands have came up in the last 4 or 5 years that's really good but also i know is something that comes and go like everything i hope a long life to death metal but also you see too many death metal bands turning into a trendy band for money and this way a genre start fading away i hope it wont happen to death metal but in these days you see some very weird mixes that is hard to tell where death metal is gonna end up.
When it comes to music in general are you a close minded person or an open minded person. Don't worry, I wont judge you for what answer you pick
well i started listening to metal when i was a little kid i was about 8 or 9 and my brother was given 'south of heaven' of slayer by a cousin so after that i started with sepultura,metallica,megadeth,and then i wanted something heavier and and faster so cannibal corpse was very important in these days and carcass,morbid angel massacra,morgoth.death,bolt-thrower of course,napalm death,etc..... and after that i got into deathgrind and grindcore until today.
besides playing in ANIMAL KILLING PEOPLE, what Does apart member here do for a living( Hobbies, work, Other band Project, are you married or still studently,etc )??
you asked me this already haha.i just care about what i listen, brutal death metal i dont care what others listen to.we have to work like any other poor person and the rest about our lives is not interested at all at this time.
and in the Future, whats the plans for ANIMAL KILLING PEOPLE??
well we plan to record our full lenght early in the next year and hopefully start playing shows when our line up is complete since now we are looking for a drummer
Are you Know about Indonesian underground Movement as well?? Are you contact with some Individual,band,label,zine,distro and other as a way? And if you know much, what your opinion for my Country to day ( Politic condition,culture,etc )??
i know bloody gore from indonesia they're pretty good very brutal and sick and i know you have a brutal scene over there, and i know there are some good brutal bands over there,people over there like sick shit right?
