Hello Eddie, lets go the intie, What are some of the bands strongest musical and non-musical influences at the moment? How would you describe THE LIGHT OF DARK ( TLOD ) in stage? And how do Mexican Metalhead normally react to your musick? Especially from your Hometown ?Are you Slam dance Audience in the vein at the time?? Hey I now about bad nickname for you “ Eddie Monster “?? Why? What your face like as a Monster ha ha :) ?
Eddie : well some of bands influences are bands like malevolent creation,nile krisiun,slayer,morbid angel,about some other influences all that stuff what the people got fear all the unknow...in the stage we want give all the audience our our fury and brutality and we felt some sensation like be possessed and we want that the fans feel the same is like and anti exorsism of music in stage weare and feel that brutality and darkness with speed that never end the aundience responce depending how drunk they are ha,ha,ha some times only are standing and watching some times are headbanging like hell the people here is strange ha! my nickname? oh ha,ha,ha is cause some time somebody toldme that eddie monster from the serie the monsters is seems to me i got that nickmane since loooong time ago.
How would you describe your own sound? I Hear Stronger Influence Brutal band that plays death metal inspired and always will! …. Are you deal with my opinion? I hear some Darkness and gory lyric is a childish and out of date. Can you describe it? Are you keep Consist with this style from beginning for TLOD? Are you not need to Change more extreme or just slowly next day? Are you interest with stuff from DEICIDE, INCANTATION, VITAL REMAINS or IMMOLATION better compare New Stuff from new bands now?
Eddie : i can say about our sound brutal,faster and sharp and of course that we got influences from old great bands like immolation morbid angel slayer and many more im a gree with your opinion bro,about the lyrics yeah i got influences from the dark ,the unknow and poets like william blake baudelaire and some others,in the beginning we played more black in the mini cd those whom dwell in the dark throught the years our sound was made more worked till obtain this sound we are in to the brutal and faster stuff for now we dont know if we can change the way of play maybe some day we can make slow songs but for the moment we was born for the speed,i still listen all that bands cause when i was more young i growing with that bands and now i sitll hearing they new recordings and hear new bands too i like acts like decapitated gorerotted,throneum autumnal reaper all times are different the sound has changed but still with the same feeling brutal and faster like hell dont you believe?
tell me about TLOD new CD on American Line Production “Beyond Darkness And Hell We Come “, the Lyrical style is Dark and Horrify, can you describe too about sound and musickal style compared TLOD Released before? How about CD “Spiritual Cannibalism “ on Marihuana Records released on 2004? I Know TLOD work recording at same studio, Decibel Vega Studios, so are you very Satisfy to choice all CD ?
Eddie : american line is the best mexican company ever!!! was excellent choice that we was signed with them we got a complete support from the company the lyrics are pure evil poetry with touchs of horror and darkness the past recordins was an musical evolution the first mini cd was more black with a poor producction,the split with throneum was more death metal but the production was no so good,the spiritual cannibalism was i thin that one of the more expensive realises here in mexico with a very good production that opened the doors for the band for better oportunityes and the new cd was a very good production better than the spiritual that i think was consagrated the band here in mexico we recorded in the same studio cause we are very satisfied with the result of both cds is a very proffesional studio is possible that the newone be recorded there but with some surprisesyou will hearing it very soon
hey How are news about American Line Production?? I hear for some news this label now is not Fast Productive compare before times ago?
Eddie : oh no! american line is a great company! they support the bands with tours here in mexico and south america and america central they got the best mexican bands signed and various productions will appear soon check they website www.alprods.net i think that now american line is more strong that in the past
What about lyric on song “Crowns For The Crowns “ and “Al Azif ‘ mean for us? Are you like glen Benton Lyrical as well?? Or you have some faforite other??
Eddie : crowns for the crows is inspired in the new tyrant for the catholic church the king of the weak souls is an anti pope song eis the coronation for a crow that is dressed like a swan and stolen the people will,al azif talks about some hpl lovecraf tale about the unknow kadath where the mad arab abdul alzhared about a powerful book of magic that when it be open it unleash 7 plagues i dont think that i got influence from glen benton is a great compositer but him is more direct in the lyric and him hates the religion of christ and i write about the supremacy of darkness over the light,my lyrics influence come from books of magic,horror movies,all the unknow ,witchery,ghost, and somuch poetry
previously I more recognizing first band from your country, Im little know for some band, Especially for Brutal death metal stuff. keep strongest survive like last moment? So can describe Any new sick bands worth mentioning? And hows the Mexican scene doing? Please, Can you Give me some High Anticipated New comers Brutal death metal Bands stuff dangerous existence for the Next Future?? Eddie : well i can recommend new mexican acts like necrotic,drowned in blood ,denial,,bands like you say are dead except disgorge a great band,here in mexico we got a great scene tons of bands some good and some bad but we are a big scene but i think that is very deeply divided many local concerts and internationals ,the zines are reborn cause in some time nobody makes printed zines all was or is via web, the trash metal is reborn too with young metalheads the black still strong but the death metal is the god here
This Most High must question from me about Your 10 Top Playlist melodic death metal stuff Music To Day and Everytime has you turn around at your CD Players?? Are you also besides this music also listen the other music type??
Eddie : mmm is a hard question cause i like tons of bands but my top ten in no particular order can be:

MORBID ANGEL - altars of madness
NILE - among the catacombs of neprhen ka
IMMOLATION - down of possession
KRISIUN - black force domain
GOREROTTED - mutilated in minutes
HALFORD - resurection
TIAMAT - clouds
DARK ANGEL - darkness descends
DEATH - scream bloodygore
and i listen too another kind of music like blues,jazz,classic and some of prehispanic stuff is good open the ears to another music
What is your opinion about the Death Metal scene now a days?
Eddie : i likeit! but im litlle disagree with many bands that start some kind of fusiones in the metal xample that bands that mixe the folkclore with metal for me that is not metal less death metal bands like children of voodom doing shit covers liaring at the new headbangers,but not all is shit some good bands still with the fist very high in the name of the true metal callit death or black that bands will survive the anothers is only crap and fashion
whats you interest about myspace.com , Purevolume and YouTube.com for Underground movement, what this is about trend or…???
Eddie : i think that is very good for all the movement underground cause in that way more peolpe can watch tons of bands i think that is not a trend is part of the technologic and why dont useit? in old times was more slow got comunication with bands and not all the bands can be listen now that is a great tool i thing but some stuff is losting like the tapetrade or the cdtrade cause is more easy see some myspace and download the music check our my space ha,ha,ha
Are you Know Indonesian Brutal Death metal scene as well, are you know about Bands/zine/labels/distro/Individual from our country?? Are TLOD can playing someday into Indonesian Gigz metal? important condition what will all of you ask for metal Promoter??

Your Occupation job beside playing the music? And your marital status now? What music can made living your life as well?
Eddie : i work in a factory printing tshirts and promotional articles,also i got a store where i sell musical instruments,i im married and i got a son and only the death metal can make my life so good
What can we expect from the band in the near future
Eddie : this year we are going to meet 10 years in the metal batllefield!!!! and we will celebrate that with a double cd with dvd in a digipack and we hope that this year we can go to europe and givethem our first europen tour!!! and is possible that we travel to south america too!!! lets see what happen thats the near future for the band!
